Stewart Yaros

Stewart Yaros started his dance training in Miami, Florida as a ballet dancer on scholarship at the Martha Mahr School of Ballet. He went on to receive scholarships at New York City Ballet and at the American Ballet Theatre. From there, he joined the Basel Ballet in Switzerland. He eventually returned to the United States and joined the Boston Ballet.

Stewart eventually left ballet and went to the University of Massachusetts in Boston on a full-ride scholarship for artistic excellence. Then in 1992, Stewart opened Dance International, where he hopes to share the joy of dance in Ballroom and Latin with everyone.

Stewart is a ten dancer, which means that he excels in both International Standard and International Latin. He is highly commended by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) for International Standard (Licentiate) and International Latin (Associate). He has also received various awards for choreography.

Stewart and Dance International have appeared in the movie "Every Word Is True", starring Gwyneth Paltrow. Most recently, Stewart has been asked to choreograph for the movie "When Night Falls In The City".
